Silvius
About Silvius:
Silvius came to us as a scared 15-week-old kitten who was considered semi-feral. He was found with his littermates in a shed and taken to a sanctuary, where we also adopted Baloo. In his first days with us, he barely moved or let us near him; we weren't sure if he would ever make it into the cafe space.
Luckily for Silvius, he arrived at about the same time as Poirot, so they ended up in the isolation room together. Poirot was pivotal in helping us socialise Silvius and showing him it was okay to trust us.
Silvius showed us the key to his heart is playtime, patience, and Poirot (any cats, for that matter; he loves them all). This love for other cats inspired his name, Silvius, inspired by the love-struck shepherd in As You Like It.
His favourite toys include deather & worms, and he will often be found chasing them, if not playing with Baloo & Poirot.
He has grown in confidence since being in the cafe and will allow human affection and pets on his terms. Playtime for Silvius is at the top of his priorities, and if he approaches you for pets, then that's a bonus.
